GRAND CONCERT WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE «MUSIC OF LIGHT. AWAKENING» PROJECT
On April 22, 2025, under the magical, shimmering glow of candlelight, another concert took place at the I.S. Turgenev Library and Reading Room as part of the «Music of Light. Awakening» project.
In the mysterious and enchanting atmosphere of the Turgenev Lounge, two sonatas for violin and piano—by Edvard Grieg and Claude Debussy—were performed by Viki Lee (piano, founder and author of the project’s programs) and Andrey Baskin (violin).
At the very end of this extraordinary, transformative concert, the guests enjoyed a musical surprise: the legendary James Horner soundtrack «My Heart Will Go On» from the movie «Titanic» was performed.
